The Quarry

Located in the historic ByWard Market, our venue offers the perfect setting for your celebration. The building was originally constructed to be “McArthur’s British Hotel” in 1837. Although there have been lots of changes since then, the building still boasts the original, locally quarried limestone that sets this space apart and creates a beautiful backdrop for your wedding day.
Our main event space is located on the second floor of the building, while the main floor hosts our vibrant, intimate taproom. The second floor comprises three distinct spaces: the Quarry, the Loft, and the Brewer’s Bar. The distinction of these spaces offers us the versatility to accommodate a wide range of celebrations. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate ceremony or a grand reception, our dedicated team is here to help you bring your dream wedding to life.
